Our Summer Camps at Mind Over Core is the perfect way to keep children active, healthy, and engaged during the school break. Regular movement helps improve coordination, build confidence, and boost mood—all while burning off energy in a fun, structured environment.

It’s also a great way for kids to make new friends, develop teamwork skills, and build a lifelong love for fitness!

Who is it for?

Our Summer Camps is ideal for children aged 8-17!

When is it?

Speed Strength & Agility Camp begins on Monday June 1st, running for 10 weeks. Sessions take place Monday Wednesday Friday (30 sessions total).

Volleyball Strength & Agility Camp begins on June 9 Running for 8 weeks until July 30 on Tuesday and Thursdays. (16 sessions)

What time are the sessions?

All sessions are 45-50 Minutes

Session 1 ages 8-10 @ 10am

Session 2 ages 11-14 @ 11am

Youth Strength and Plyo

Session 1 ages 8-11 @ 2pm

Session 2 ages 12-17 @ 3pm

Meet Our Kids Summer Camp Coach

Introducing Coach Jordan Pettaway

A dedicated athlete and mentor from Oregon bringing leadership, athleticism, and positive energy to our summer camps at Mind Over Core.

Jordan was a standout multi-sport athlete, earning second-team all-district honors and first-team All-Three Rivers Athletic Conference recognition as both a junior and senior. As a sophomore, he earned honorable mention all-district and second-team All-TRAC honors. He was also a three-time varsity football letter winner and a four-time varsity track & field letter winner before continuing his athletic career at Ohio Northern University.

With years of competitive athletic experience, Jordan is passionate about helping young athletes grow in confidence, discipline, teamwork, and overall performance. Whether leading drills, teaching movement mechanics, or keeping camp fun and engaging, he brings an encouraging coaching style that helps every athlete feel supported and motivated.

Coach Jordan believes sports are about more than competition — they’re about building character, confidence, and learning how to work hard while having fun along the way.
